Rick Blitstein began his Martial Arts life as a teenager in Cleveland learning Shaolin Kung-Fu. He was first introduced to Krav Maga while living in Israel in 1978.
In 1981, Rick earned his teaching degree, and later his Black Belt, directly from the Grandmaster of Krav Maga, Imi Lichtenfeld.
Upon returning to America, he was part of the original seed group that introduced the system outside of Israel.
Over the many years, Rick has taught thousands of people, has created Instructors, and worked with the Military and Intelligence communities, celebrities, film choreography, and even as an Italian Olympic Coach!
Rick has also worked for many years in the field of Corporate/Private Security, which accounts for his realistic approach to training and techniques.
Being based in Miami Beach, Rick has students coming to him from all over the world.
Having known Grandmaster Imi, he also teaches the history and philosophy behind Krav Maga.
Rick travels domestically and globally to teach seminars and still passes on the knowledge that he learned so many years ago.
